Private Well Nitrate Water Screening Event:
Date: Monday, April 1, 2024
Time: 2:00PM – 6:00PM
Location: Goodhue Lions Community Center (105 Broadway Street, Goodhue, MN 55027)
Water samples should be collected on the cold side of your kitchen sink. Collect about 1 quart of water in a clean container. Collect sample no more than 24 hours before the event. Keep water cool. If your house uses water treatment equipment other than a softener, it is recommended to take a sample before and after to determine if your system is working properly, label sample container accordingly.
This event is in coordination with the Goodhue Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), Minnesota Rural Water Association (MRWA), and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).
